Hardware Ranch

While scouting for moose last summer, I learned about a state wildlife management area called Hardware Ranch. It's only about 20 minutes from Logan and several hundred elk winter there each year. So a few weeks ago, we decided to go check it out. Kids under three are free, adults are only $5, and it was well worth it if you ask me. There aren't very many places where you can get that close to a wild elk herd. It's open until February 28th if anyone is interested. All the info is on their website:
