You might have noticed that there are no any elk in any of these pictures. That's because we didn't see very many. We hunted hard for seven days in what is usually considered a pretty good area, but the warm weather kept the elk at higher elevations outside our unit. The only thing we managed to kill was this stupid rabbit. We're pretty sure he'll make Boone & Crockett as soon as the 60-day drying period is up and we can have him officially scored.
